Thinking of switching from Wells Fargo to Citibank or Navy Federal… thoughts?

I’m currently with Wells Fargo but considering a switch. Looking for any recommendations—let me know which bank you think is better! Thanks!

Citibank’s retail services are not great, honestly. Navy Federal is much better in my experience.

Navy Federal is definitely the way to go. Customer service is better than Citi by far.

Navy has 24/7 customer service based in the U.S., if that’s important to you. They also offer different account types to help you avoid maintenance fees. I haven’t banked with Citi, but Navy has been good to me.

Navy Federal is great for loans and customer service. Citi’s better for basic banking, though. Navy has some tech issues—debit transactions sometimes don’t show up right away, and the new app can be buggy. I’d borrow from Navy but keep everyday banking elsewhere.

I’d never go with Citi again. Navy Federal is at least halfway decent, so I’d recommend them.

Navy Federal is solid and financially stable, with great customer service.

Consider a local credit union. Keeping your money local can be a good thing.

NFCU all the way.

Navy Federal plus a Citi Costco credit card is a good combo.

I’ve been with USAA for a long time. Does Navy Federal require military affiliation?

Yes, they do.

I wouldn’t even compare Navy Federal to Citi. Navy has great rates and higher limits in my experience.

Navy Federal over any of the big 4 banks, no question.

Navy Federal all the way.

Citi if you’re dealing with wealth, but Navy Federal for everything else.
