I’ve always been able to withdraw money from my Huntington Bank account as long as there was a positive balance, even though I live paycheck to paycheck. It’s not letting me this week. Is there a chance that a specific balance requirement applies to me? With $4 in checking and $1 in savings, everything is nice and balanced. I have some cash, and I was wondering if I could get the $300 I need till payday if I deposited $30 at my bank and then used another ATM?

Perhaps. Perhaps not. It appears that your risk profile for overdrafts has increased due to the Huntington algorithm. Changing ATMs won’t have any impact. The boundaries are worldwide.

Your account was most likely flagged if you are consistently overdrawn. Furthermore, you’re not really living paycheck to paycheck if you have $5 in the bank.
