I never sign personal checks and haven’t had an issue yet.
Worst case, the check gets sent back. Probably nothing will happen.
Did you cash it or deposit it?
It depends. Insurance, mortgage, or dealership checks might need endorsements. If it’s just a regular check, you’re probably fine.
