What benefits and drawbacks come with banking with them?

Cash deposits are not the most convenient to make. Customer service is not always easy to understand because they outsource like huge enterprises. Apart from that, there are relatively few disadvantages. Industry-leading digital banking platform, one of the highest yielding savings alternatives available, interest-bearing checking, and competitive CDs if you go that route.

They can be tough to deal with when opening new accounts because they require identity verification from several people, both in person and online. Aside from that, they appear to be less scammy than my previous experiences with Citibank or Chase.
