Hey folks,
I’m thinking of switching to an online bank and could use some suggestions. Which ones do you like the best? Looking for great customer service, low fees, and good perks. Any favorites?
Thanks!

I generally concur. You’ll be fine with any Discover, Capital One, or Alliant, for the most part. These three online checking accounts are highly suggested on Reddit and appear to be the best ones. Since most of them are online, you might wish to combine your online account with a fee-free local credit union to have a physical location for large withdrawals and cash deposits, as well as other services better suited for a brick and mortar establishment. However, most people don’t really need a local credit union—it’s just kind of nice to have.
Thinking about switching to an online bank? Smart move! Enjoy lower fees, higher interest rates, and the convenience of managing your money anytime, anywhere. Look for great customer service, low fees, and perks like cashback or bonus interest. Popular options include Ally Bank, Discover Bank, Capital One 360, and Chime. Compare different banks to find the perfect fit for you.
