What is the bank of america address for wire? Urgently need a correct one
The following address should be used for wire transactions to Bank of America:
Bank of America, NA
222 Broadway
New York, NY 10038
Make sure your account information and routing number are accurate. To prevent any mistakes, double check with the beneficiary or your local branch.
I work at Bofa; you enter the individual’s address where they created their account (not the bank’s). I know td requires the receiving bank’s address to conduct a wire, but for some reason, BofA does not.
Ask the dealer to confirm. Maybe they forgot you would be wiring them USD or didn’t realize that international wires can go to BOFAUS3N. They might only be used to dealing with international wires in foreign currencies.
Bank of America says 3N should be used for USD wires and 6S for foreign currencies, but that’s just their policy. For the SWIFT network, 3N and 6S are just location codes: 3N is for New York and 6S is for San Francisco.
Use the following address to send domestic wire transfers to Bank of America:
Bank of America, N.A.
100 West 33rd Street
New York, NY 10001
You will additionally require the SWIFT code, BOFAUS3N, for international wire transfers.
To ensure accuracy, make sure you verify the information with Bank of America or the recipient.
