Payoneer blocked me immediately after signing up. What can I do?

This is a frustrating situation. I work remotely for a U.S. company and wanted to use Payoneer since it seemed like the only option for getting paid and transferring funds to my local bank.

I created an account, submitted my documents, and right after that, my account was blocked. I tried contacting support through live chat, but it didn’t work. I also emailed them, but the response didn’t make much sense. The worst part is that I’ve never used Payoneer before, yet they claimed I violated their terms immediately after signing up.

Thinking it was a mistake, I tried again with a different email, but the same thing happened. When I called their support line, the automated system just directed me to their support center without letting me talk to anyone.

Luckily, a family member also uses Payoneer, so I tried calling again and entered their account ID instead of mine. That actually got me connected to an agent, but even after explaining everything, they just repeated the same vague response: ‘You have violated our terms and won’t be able to sign up, even with a new email.’ They wouldn’t give me any real explanation or even try to help.

For people working remotely for international companies, this kind of issue makes it really difficult to get paid. Has anyone else gone through this, and is there any way around it?

Good luck getting this solved. This company is a complete mess. You’re better off looking for another payment option instead of wasting your time with them.

Check Google Maps reviews, and you’ll see what other people have experienced. They’re even deleting comments from their social media pages.

The same thing happened to my sister a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been using Payoneer for over 10 years and sent her a referral link, but she got blocked as soon as she signed up. Is Payoneer just not accepting new users anymore?

@Jeremy
I’m not sure. My sister has been using them for years, so I figured it was safe. But when I signed up, they blocked me instantly and wouldn’t explain why.

The same thing happened to me. I kept calling their support line for 10 days, and nothing worked. Finally, I got frustrated and demanded to be escalated. That got me to a senior agent who helped me regain access. After 24 hours, my account was back.

@Parker
You got lucky. They wouldn’t even escalate my case.

The same thing happened to me today. I’ve been using Payoneer for 7 years, and they just blocked my account without warning.

Same here, happened on January 1st.

This is probably an automated system flagging accounts for no reason.

Payoneer does this a lot, especially when people have money in their accounts. They block users for no reason and then give vague responses when you ask for details. They try to look like a reliable company, but they’re not.

This is happening a lot with accounts from certain countries. You need to contact their support and provide whatever documents they ask for. It’s a frustrating process, but it might work.
