I’ve been thinking about using Remitly to send some money to my family overseas, but I’m a bit concerned about safety and security. I’ve read a bit about it, but I’d love to hear from people who have firsthand experience with the service.
Is Remitly safe to use? How reliable is it for international money transfers? Have you encountered any issues with their service, like delays or hidden fees? Also, how is their customer support in case something goes wrong?

I sent $5000 to my own international account.
Remitly claims the money was delivered last week but the money is not in my account.
Remitly claims to be investigating the issue but so far nothing.
Every time I call they have no answers.
I will avoid these services from now on and pay extra for a wire transfer. Its worth it.
The service is excellent. But it appears that my debit card information was taken and utilised for an illegal transaction. My debit card has only been used in Remitly, and the actual card has not been taken. Thus, proceed with caution.
They are safe and genuine, however I haven’t used them in a long. Check out Wise as well.
