Deposit Not Showing Up?

Hi, I’m very new to debit cards, and this is my first one. I made a cash deposit tonight at my bank’s 24-hour drive-up ATM, which I have done many times after work as I usually do. The money is always in my account immediately. I ended up making 3 deposits to the same account. One for about $150, another for $67, and one for $20 when the bill didn’t take.

I checked my account, and it said my balance was $136. There should be over $200 in there. It says I made a deposit for $136 only; the other two don’t show up. I didn’t have any negative balance previously. Bank support is closed tonight and tomorrow. It’s not like it didn’t get all the bills correctly because I confirmed the numbers each time. I’m very worried about my money because I’m broke lol. Does someone know what I should do?

Sometimes ATMs can have delays. Double-check your receipts, and if the deposits don’t show up by the next business day, contact your bank’s customer support.

If your deposit isn’t showing up, contact your bank and provide details, including the deposit receipt. However, be aware that the bank may not accept the receipt as proof that you deposited the amount shown.

The same thing happened to me. I went to the bank and reported it to the manager. They issued me a temporary credit, and within 72 hours, it became permanent. Interestingly, neither the bank manager nor the staff have direct access to the ATM anymore. Instead, they submit a ticket, and a team comes to service the ATM, usually with another person present to oversee the process.
