Upon doing so, an agent assured me they would unlock my account post-verification of certain transactions. However, despite waiting, I remained unable to access my account. Subsequent calls directed me to contact the fraud department at (866)-376-4584. Concerned about its legitimacy, I researched the number and found indications of it being a scam, with no mention on the official BofA website. Upon reconnecting with the original BofA number, attempts to transfer me to the fraud department were futile, resulting in disconnections. Repeated efforts yielded similar outcomes. How should I proceed in resolving this issue?

Though it might seem like a foolish suggestion, have you tried cleaning your device’s cache and cookies? This alone would resolve problems for half of the calls I would get when addressing internet access difficulties for clients (at another bank). And that was all that was required to solve the problem while I was having trouble logging in.
